Students applying for Access Courses at Nescot are normally eligible for the government's Advanced Learner Loan. This covers your course fees. If you go on to complete a university degree, the loan for your Access course is written off.

Access to HE (Nursing pathway): Level 3
The Access to HE (Nursing pathway) is a programme that seeks to prepare people who wish to study towards a degree in the field of Nursing.
Access to HE Computing
The Access to HE Computing will set you on the right track for a career in IT and Telecoms. Digital Technologies such as Software Engineering and Network Security are a growth area for job opportunities in London and the South east. This course is designed to give upskill adult learners to gain the skills and knowledge they need to gain employment in the IT Sector or move on to further study of Computing at a University level.
Access to HE in Creative & Digital Media
A course enabling adults (19+) to develop the skills and confidence to enter university-level study in Creative Media subjects
Access to HE in Health and Human Sciences
The Level 3 Access to HE Diploma is a nationally recognised qualification, designed to provide preparation for study in higher education (HE) in the UK for adults aged 19+ returning to education. It provides a balance of essential study skills with specialist subject knowledge, preparing students for the academic and practical rigour of undergraduate study in Health and Human Sciences.
Access to Higher Education in Business
A course for people aged 19+ looking to progress to degree-level study in Business or a closely related area. The Access to HE Business course at NESCOT will give adult learners a range of skills that are necessary to pursue a career in business, self-employment and providing a solid platform for further study in the subject area at Higher Education. In addition, the set of key skills developed are valued by employers; the course includes the key business areas of marketing, human resource management, and finance, as well as the operational and planning abilities associated with business decision making. Within this context, students develop their skills as business practitioners through a range of work-related learning and assessment opportunities.
Access courses are designed for people who left school without formal qualifications, like A-Levels and BTECs, but want to study for HNCs, HNDs and degrees.
