Bursary Fund Meal Allowances

Please find below the arrangements for April – June 2024

What’s available may change during the year but we will let you know of any changes as they happen.

What you can use your meal allowance for

From April 2024 until June 2024, you can use your meal allowance to purchase TWO meals for the days you are timetabled to attend College only. The allowance can be used in the Refectory or Starbucks at The Undercroft.

What you can have

You can choose a breakfast and lunch from the following:

REFECTORY

Breakfast (8.00 am – 11.15 am)

• 'Simply Sandwich’ range sandwich with a yoghurt or piece of fruit and a bottle of water for £3.00
• Bacon or sausage roll and a bottle of water for £3.00
• Assorted hot or cold pastries and a bottle of water for £3.00
  

Cold Lunch (from 11.15 am – 2.00 pm)

• ‘Simply Sandwich’ range meal deal to the value of £3.00 (this includes a bottle of water)
  

Hot Lunch (from 12.00 noon – 2.00 pm)

• Any of the hot daily meal deals to the value of £3.00 (water not included)

STARBUCKS at the UNDERCROFT (8.30 am – 8.00 pm)

• ‘Simply Sandwich’ range meal deal to the value of £3.00 (this includes a bottle of water)

NOT INCLUDED: Soft drinks/Coke/Starbucks drinks, chocolate bars, crisps, sweets, cakes, cookies, waffles. If you do take items that are not included in your allowance you will be expected to pay for them at the tills.

Bursary Information

• Meals are linked to your Nescot ID card so you must have this with you every day.
• The first time you have a meal you will need to ask the canteen staff to register your card.
• Then each time you select your meal (from the list above), tap your ID card on the card reader to pay for your meal.
